  • Another Week Goes By

    Well another week has gone by . I am feeling better, so much better, since being off the Avandia.

    I went to see my mom at her house today and she said to me .. You look so much better .. She said she had been worried about me because she saw how puffy I was. I thought it was just me being paranoid and I told my mom that. She said I looked very puffy like I was on steroids. She said today that my face was so much better than it was last week. I had not realized it was that noticable ..

    So I am glad I am off that crap..I  am no longer out of breath.. and I am not as tired all the time .. my muscles feel better than they had .. and I can climb the stairs without feeling like I am dying .. etc.

    Other than that ..A friend of mine sent me an article that is very upsetting about how polluted our oceans are ..

    Our oceans are turning into plastic...are we?

    A vast swath of the Pacific, twice the size of Texas, is full of a plastic stew that is entering the food chain. Scientists say these toxins are causing obesity, infertility...and worse.

  • Plastic creeps me out.  I can't understand why people buy and drink water in plastic bottles.

  • I know .. I am with you .. way back when I did not know better I used to eat lean cuisine off of the plastic plates it came with .. God only knows how much I may have ingested and if it has anything to do with my medical woes... I really feel we need to go back to glass ...
