  • Oh Please !!!

    LOL .. Well it must be a slow news day on AOL ( yes I cling to old online habits .. I am still on AOL its just easier than switching e-mail addresses .. etc. )

    Famous Mom Talks Baby Weight. Actress 30 May Go Under the Knife

    They were talking about Liv Tyler who had a baby 2 years back and remarked that in her business she has to look good and would definately have surgery in the future... blah blah ..vacuuous blah...

    Now - Liv Tyler is adorable.. she is a beauty of a different kind, from a woman's perspective, she has the skin and hair and beautiful lips most woman would love to have. When I saw her in the movie That Thing You Do .. I thought . wow this girl is so natural and so adorable, who would not fall in love with her. She just portrays such a sweet image. Who cares if shes got baby paunch, shes beautiful..

    What a mixed up world we live in, where a woman is somehow not allowed to age gracefully. Men are allowed to - so why not woman. I am not saying anything new here .. I am simply stating my opinion. With all the things that are wrong with the world the last thing anyone should be worried about is Liv Tyler's baby weight .. hell my baby is 22 now and I am still carrying mine. It's sort of a badge of honor .. and surgery...I have only had the necessary kind...

    I can see why my mom and dad sit back and say the world has gone mad . Not that people in their generation have not had surgery .. look at Joan Rivers... completely plastic .. But I look at my mom and dad and yes they show their age .. but I also see the beauty underneath and it is not just because they are my mom and dad ..

    I look at older people and I see such beauty in them.. Everyone of us is beautiful . some are blessed with the entire package...some only a face .. some it's their hands.. some it's their eyes or their mouth... Everyone has beauty .... the purest souls - their beauty just shines. They don't care a whit about surgery, they are smart enough to know that their inner light cancels out any perceived imperfections they may carry on the outside ..

    And imperfections can be amazingly beautiful .. I look at Barbara Streisand when she was in Funny Girl and I see such beauty .. and when she lifts that voice to song .. wow ...I love the singer of Romeo Void, Deborah Ilya, she had the coolest voice and is so beautiful and such a wonderful woman... talented in so many ways .. and her band, that was very talented fell flat after some hit songs because her label didn't want to promote her. Don't let me get on the Ann Wilson of Heart thing .. the woman has probably the best female voice in rock we have ever been graced with and oh by the way she got big .. who cares... she sings rings in her 50's around the waifs who outsell her now .. there is NO justice ..

    Nope .. we cannot get old .. or look old and God forbid we get fat .. what a crazy world this is .......

    I could go on .. but I think I made my point and said what I needed to say .. Love to All
